All this area is very well maintained by the local Tathra Armature Fishing Club.

There is a fee to use the ramp or for members of the TAFC, usage is free

Mogareeka 

Access to the boat ramp is directly of the Tathra – Bermagui Road into the parking area.

Toilets and Wash bay are availivle there no fish cleaning station here 

NO Access to the ocean from this boat ramp 

This boat ramp give you access to Bega River

Fishing At Mogareeka 

Know as Bega River is a healthy river system.

Known by the locals as a great place for catching flathead.

This area is known frequently for winning our clubs largest dusty flathead compition.

this beautiful spot also offer bream,whitting and is your luck enough the odd mulloway fish

From the opening of the mouth, there are some great sand banks for trolling. Most common spot is under the bridge near the pillons. And further up stream the are a few deep holes. 

leading of the bega river brings you to black fellows lagoon.

you are able to access via kalaru which has a small area with boat ramp suitable for smaller boats and kayaks etc. there is no amenities building at the spot. 

Family Friendly

This is a great place for the whole family . offer a new built play area for kids At Lions park.

Also offers a great area for kids to splash around in the water or kids to play on paddle boards while you fish.

This area also offers plenty of shade and a fully under cover BBQ area and tables as well as toilet block.
