Boat Ramp

The Merimbula Boat Ramp is relatively new. Completely removed and re-built, this three lane ramp, allows very good access to the lake for small to medium and even some larger boats.

The height of the Merimbula Bridge can be a problem for large boats with around two meters of clearance at high tide.

The MBGLAC also owns and maintains the fish cleaning pontoon located just inside the Merimbula Sand Bar. Fish can be legally cleaned on the pontoon prior to using the boat ramp to retrieve their boat.

There is an 8 knot speed limit in both directions from the boat ramp and, be aware, it is regularly patrolled.
