Southern Bluefin, Yellowfin & Broadbill Tournament

The President, Committee and members of the MBGLAC extend an invitation to all financial members affiliated with
NSWGFA, GFAA and ANSA clubs to compete in the 2022 Merimbula Open Tournament.

 

Three days of fishing for

Yellowfin
Bluefin
Shark
Other Game fish – including Marlin + spearfish
Broadbill Swordfish

Every one of these species a very real possibility!!!

Weigh Station at Merimbula Big Game and Lakes Angling Club

Friday 10th June Registrations and Briefing

Registration and briefings will be ongoing commencing 4pm at Clubrooms in Spencer Park.

Bar will be open from 4pm and serves of finger food will be provided.
Final registrations will be accepted up till 8:30pm.

Unless prior arrangements have been made a representative of each team must attend the registration briefing.

Saturday  11th June

Start Fishing at 7.00am, Stop Fishing at 5.00pm

Weighing times 4pm -6pm

Sunday 12th June

Start Fishing at 7.00am, Stop Fishing at 4.00pm

Weighing time 4pm – 6pm

Tournament Dinner at Tura Beachountry Club 6.30pm

Monday 13th June

Start Fishing at 7.00am, Stop Fishing 3.00pm

All tag cards and weigh slips to weigh station prior to 4.00pm cutoff, Clubrooms at Spencer Park Refreshments & Finger Food Bar Opens at 3.30pm

Trophy and prize presentation start at 5pm

ENTRY FEES

All anglers competing in the Tournamentmust be financial members ofclub and affiliated with the GameFishing Association of Australia (GFAA), NSWGFA, or ANSA. Note any ANSA member wishing to fish in a NSWGFA Sanctioned tournament, must be on a NSWGFA Registered boat.

Adult anglers Entry Fee including Tournament Dinner – $130.00
Juniors and Small Fry anglers fishing for Junior trophies – $35.00

Juniors and Small Fry wishing to be eligible for senior prizes must pay the full Adult entry fee and will be deemed to fish as an adult angler for the Tournament.
